Thus begins the blog of my excursion to Cuenca, Ecuador. (This is actually my second attempt, but we'll pretend the other one didn't happen and that this one will stick.)
As I write, I am still at the Subrosa, typing from my own desk. Finals week is nearing, and I will remain in Upland for January. Yet as I feel Taylor life as I know it coming to an end, I find a need to begin the process of saying goodbye to this season of my life so I may ready myself to welcome a new one.
Things are changing quickly. I wonder if I will be able to keep up. I wonder what I'll have to leave behind.
At a loss for my own, I must borrow words to speak my heart: "The years have been short, but the days go slowly by." (from "Pink Bullets" by--none other than--The Shins)
